HISTORY
This all steel Motoraak style Dutch Barge was built in Holland during the 1920's. The barge is fully converted. The conversion work having been carried out in Holland. The current owner bought the barge in Northampton in 1999 and it has been her home in the uk since. The barge has an aftfolding wheelhouse/ deck saloon. Approximate measurements:- Length 56' (16.7m) Beam 11'6" (3.5m) Draft 3'6" (1m) Air draft with wheel house up 9' (2.74m) with wheel house folded to top of bow rail 6'8" (2.03m)
The barge was taken out of the water in July 2006. The hull was cleaned and six sacrificial anodes were fitted to the hull. Repair work was carried out to the recomendations from a survey carried out in 1999. Carries 400 galls water tank, and 142 galls diesel tank.
